Dr.Upadhyaya is a triple board certified psychiatrist in adult, Child & Adolescent, and Addiction Psychiatry with 28+ years of experience in clinical psychiatry and research. He is an award winning psychiatrist with holistic approach to patient evaluation and treatment. He completed his medical school at Seth G.S. Medical School in Mumbai, India; research training at the University of Texas at Austin; residency in psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati and fellowships at the Medical University of South Carolina. Currently, he is an adjunct Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health science center in Houston where he teaches residents and fellows on treatment of psychiatric conditions.
